Health and Nutrition

We believe that health and nutrition are the backbone of wellness. That is why we pay close attention to the Health Practices Guidelines and have incorporated them in all of our programs at the centre. The federal food guide helps us prepare nutritious meals and menus, which will be posted weekly on the Bulletin Board at the front entrance for review. Our meals and snacks are nut free. Lunches are catered by Wholesome Foods; the children will enjoy a morning and afternoon snack prepared onsite. Our quality childcare program involves community health practitioners such as periodic visits from public health. Hand washing and infection control guidelines are implemented and closely adhered to in order to reduce the spread of infection.
